Matt Eachus: Co-Founder, Author & Series Editor
Matt is a Christian, husband, father, pastor, and author who thoroughly enjoys the busy life God has given him. Having spent his childhood in Southeast Pennsylvania, Matt graduated from Liberty University in 2001 and Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in 2010.He currently serves as Lead Pastor of Temple Baptist Church in Halfmoon, NY, a growing multi-generational church in the Albany suburbs. He has a passion for teaching the Bible, for serving the church of Jesus, and seeing churches planted so that more people can know the life-changing power of the Gospel. A gifted speaker and teacher Matt has a heart for helping people understand the deep things of God in ways that connect with their real lives. He is hopeful that God would use him to be an encourager and equipper to the church at large.
He and his wife, Amanda, live in Clifton Park, NY with their 4 young and very active children. They spend their days in a furious blur of T-ball, gymnastics, soccer, and school activities, all the while attempting to cherish each fleeting moment. In his downtime, he enjoys dark coffee, reading, hiking in the Adirondacks, and spending time with his family.
Bobby Person: Founder & President
Bobby is an accomplished entrepreneur, business manager and publishing professional with 18-years of experience primarily focused on reference and learning solutions. Bobby has a passion for turning complex, lengthy and otherwise challenging content into simple, clear and accessible formats. He founded eciple in 2012 with the very simple mission of helping people learn the Bible and grow in their faith by developing an expansive series of concise, easy to understand, video-enhanced eBooks.
Born and raised in Southeast Pennsylvania, he and his wife, Marcie, now reside in Tampa, FL with their 4 children. Bobby is active in Christian ministries most recently serving as Director of Deacons ministry at Temple Baptist Church in Halfmoon, NY. In his downtime, he enjoys light roast coffee, studying scripture, fishing, camping, following the Philadelphia Phillies and spending time with his family.
Rob Tompkins: Videographer and Technology Advisor
Rob Tompkins is the team's videographer and technology adviser. Rob accepted Jesus as his savior very young and went on to study at Maryland Bible College and Seminary, where he earned his Bachelors in Biblical Studies. He worked for years serving the homeless in the city of Baltimore, Maryland before going to Sophia, Bulgaria as a missionary to aid in a church plant. Upon returning from Sophia he married and moved to the state of New York to raise his family. In addition to Bulgaria he has served on missions teams in Romania, Hungary, Peru, and the US. Rob has a desire to see everyone come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, and grow in their appreciation of the beauty of God as revealed in the scriptures.
Rob enjoys studying scripture, preaching and teaching, photography, classic cars, riding his motorcycle, fixing everything from computers to engines, spending time with his family and medium roast, luke warm coffee.
