Spray Tan Prep Tips
Before you spray tan it is important to exfoliate your entire body; be sure to remove any makeup, perfume, and deodorant. Waxing or shaving should be performed several hours before a spray tanning session. Apply barrier lotion to your hands, elbows, knees, and feet. If you choose to tan in a UV bed before your spray tan do not use a tanning lotion. Pre-tan intensifier should be applied after using the UV bed and before your spray tan session.
Although you will see some results immediately, it may take up to 12 hours before the tan fully develops. It is recommended that you wear loose fitting clothing after your spray tan session and to wait 6 hours before showering, exercising, or swimming. Some color may be visible in the water during your first shower; this is a normal process.
