Digital Evidence Consulting is one area that we believe should be done more often during any defense case, most all criminal cases that involve digital evidence are resolved through a plea agreement, this agreement is typically done do to the evidence the Government has provided to the defense attorney, however most defense attorneys do not understand that the evidence provided to them is only a small minor amount of the data that was available, we assure all of you from my own experience working for the Government doing forensic computer and digital evidence investigation that the Government will only provide to the defense the worst possible evidence located and no evidence that would possible shine a positive light on the accused.

Furthermore we believe NO defendant should ever be encouraged to plead guilty to a crime until the Governments digital evidence including the manner it was obtained, imaged, examined and presented has been scrutinized by a digital evidence expert. The fruits of the poisonous digital tree are many times overlooked.
