PATH WEEK
2014 Gertrude Windsor Award

The Annual Philanthropy Celebration will be held on Thursday, September 11th from 6:30 – 9:30 pm, at Willow Brook Country Club. The evening event celebrates the heritage of PATH and the future plans for the organization. Great food, drinks and music are included for a ticket price of $100 per person. Reservations are required.
Proceeds benefit PATH’s HOPE and HOME Programs.
The highlight of the celebration on the 11th will be the presentation of the prestigious Gertrude Windsor Award to Nancy Lamar.
This award is presented to an individual who epitomizes the mission of PATH through words and deeds.
“Nancy has been an influential part of PATH’s heritage from the beginning. She was the Executive Director of PATH for those critical 11 years of early growth taking it from a small charity with a very limited impact to a $1.5 million agency with community-wide support and a wide spectrum of services impacting thousands of Smith County residents every year,"
said Greg Grubb in announcing this year’s choice.
According to C.C. Baker, winner of the Gertrude Windsor Award in 2011, “Nancy is a wonderful choice for this award. Nancy’s leadership in the community has been significant including key roles at East Texas Communities Foundation, The University of Texas at Tyler and currently as Vice President of Community Relations for The Hospice of East Texas.”
